Destination: Vietnam - Day Eighteen

I don’t know what happened but this trip to Vietnam has magically went from a 21-day trip to a 22-day trip. Maybe because I thought we were going this Friday. My bad. LOL.

Anyway, what basically happened last night, is we got pizza for dinner. Yeah, I know, it’s not asian food. But I am kinda getting sick of eating the same food again, and again… and again

What was funny was that my relatives (7 people, at the time) never had pizza in their lives. Never ever. Which I completely understand, because the fact that they eat asian food 7 days a week.

Some of my relatives kinda liked the taste of pizza, but didn’t eat much. Some of them, tasted it and never want to eat it again. And the rest - well, they didn’t want to eat it at all. So, I was basically stuck with eating the majority of the pizza. Why did we order 2 boxes?!

And also, to be honest, Australian pizzas are better than pizzas made over here. I’m just saying.

After dinner, we went to have a drink of coffee. You don’t want to be having a cup of coffee with me because I drink the coffee in under 5 minutes and then I’m easily bored. Unless it’s Starbucks (preferably in the US) where I take half an hour to go through a large hot chocolate. It’s just so good!

After the cup of coffee, we got home, and slept, basically.

Now, it’s day eighteen, in our (now) 22-day trip to Vietnam, and it’s 8:55am right now. And all I’ve done is check my e-mail, see how much I’ve spent on iTunes since July 2009, buy some more stuff on eBay, check my e-mail, tweet, go onto Facebook, and read the news over in Australia.

It’s going to be a 30-degree week with 30 degrees forcasted for the rest of the week, so it’s going to be hot, hot, hot! By the way, 30 degrees here means 100 degrees in real-life. The humidity here is unbearable and makes the temperature 3 times higher than it actually is!

Well, I’m hoping that I go visit the beach today, earlier than we usually do because then we catch the heat, but I highly doubt it because some of my relatives are apparently afraid of the sun.

I don’t get the fact that everyone here is afraid of the sun, but still go out in the sun! They wear long-sleeve jackets in 30 degree heats, wear those face masks to protect them from the sun! Fark, I seriously don’t know how these people last in the heat like this!

Then as usual, we’re going to have coffee after dinner so, that’s basically what’s gonna happen for the rest of the day. Have a good day people, I’ll be back in Australian land in a few more days!

Ciao!
